General training - many options

This fully on-line programme will be held over eight 3-hour sessions during the weeks of 21st October 2024 and 9thDecember 2024. There will be a six-week break in between the two-part programme, where you will be expected to write a mini proposal and participate in an activity to review the proposals of your colleagues.

A career development fellowship sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty International Center (FIC), this program supports awarded fellows from all 10 UC campuses as well as 22 affiliated international sites across 18 countries. UCGHI manages and supports the GloCal Health Fellowship.

Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) is a set of guidelines describing the application of those Good Laboratory Practice principles that are relevant to the analyses of samples from clinical trials while ensuring the purpose and objectives of the Good Clinical Practice principles are maintained. In so doing, the reliability, quality, consistency and integrity of data generated by clinical trial laboratories can be assure which is crucial to the outcome of any clinical trial.

This ICH E6 GCP Investigator Site Training, in multiple languages, meets the Minimum Criteria for ICH GCP Investigator Site Personnel Training identified by TransCelerate BioPharma as necessary to enable mutual recognition of GCP training among trial sponsors.

Influential Mentor Training - The TRAC Influential Mentors series comprises five virtual sessions that focus on recent scholarship on mentorship, tools for mentors and mentees to strengthen relationships, mentoring across cultures, and building mentoring programs. One session features a panel discussion where experienced mentors and mentees will share best practices and lessons learned. This series is tailored for TB research mentors and mentees from various backgrounds and ranks. Participants who attend four out of five sessions will receive a certificate, however registered participants can attend select sessions. The sessions are led by Dr. Dawn Comeau, Director of Mentor Training at Emory’s TRAC and Professor at Rollins School of Public Health.

BIO Ventures for Global Health (BVGH) hosts a 10-session digital lecture series focused on essential grant writing concepts and tailored to meet the needs of clinicians and researchers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The series runs through February 2024.

This e-course gives practical guidance on key elements of the management of TB in children and adolescents. The role of health care workers in preventing, identifying and managing TB in children and adolescents is critical.

TB Diagnostics Workshop A capacity-building workshop for countries in Africa 9 December 2024 – 13 December 2024, Johannesburg, South Africa This five-day workshop will feature a comprehensive agenda, including lectures, panel discussions, and practical site visits.
