IN-TRAC IN-tensive Week
IN-TRAC IN-tensive week is scheduled for August 4-6, 2025 on the Texas Biomed campus in San Antonio, TX. This week will include courses from three IN-TRAC cores: Biosafety and Biocontainment Core (BBC), Animal Model Core (AMC) and Research Imaging Core (RIC). Influential Mentor Training
Influential Mentor Training - The TRAC Influential Mentors series comprises five virtual sessions that focus on recent scholarship on mentorship, tools for mentors and mentees to strengthen relationships, mentoring across cultures, and building mentoring programs. One session features a panel discussion where experienced mentors and mentees will share best practices and lessons learned. This series is tailored for TB research mentors and mentees from various backgrounds and ranks. Participants who attend four out of five sessions will receive a certificate, however registered participants can attend select sessions. The sessions are led by Dr. Dawn Comeau, Director of Mentor Training at Emory’s TRAC and Professor at Rollins School of Public Health.

Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) call 12
FULL PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 21 April 2026 at 17:00 Brussels time
IHI call 12 is a single-stage, applicant-driven call with topics aligned with the specific objectives of the IHI Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.
The call contains five topics, each focusing on one of the five IHI Specific Objectives (SOs) as set out in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA):
Topic 1 (SO1): Boosting innovation for a better understanding of the determinants of health
Topic 2 (SO2): Boosting innovation through better integration of fragmented health R&I efforts
Topic 3 (SO3): Boosting innovation for people-centred integrated healthcare solutions
Topic 4 (SO4): Boosting innovation through exploitation of digitalisation and data exchange in healthcare
Topic 5 (SO5): Boosting innovation for better assessment of the added value of innovative integrated healthcare solutions

International Conference on HIV Treatment, Pathogenesis, and Prevention Research (INTEREST) - Annual Conference
CONFERENCE DATE: 12-15 May 2026; LOCATION: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
The annual INTEREST Conference is the premier scientific conference for HIV in Africa and brings together scientists involved in HIV treatment, pathogenesis, and prevention research from around the world. The conference will showcase cutting-edge knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV and the prevention of the HIV-1 infection. Additionally, it will continue to foster building a community of African physicians and scientists to facilitate the implementation of local solutions for the management of patients living with HIV-1 infection and for the prevention of HIV transmission. The programme will consist of invited lectures, oral abstract presentations, a debate, skill-building sessions, panel discussions, and sponsored symposia.

Keystone Symposia: Global Health Travel Awards
Global Health Travel Awards (for the Global Health Series) are to enable attendance of scientists, physicians, fellows or students from countries where the meeting topic health problems are endemic. The purpose of providing travel awards is to add to the diversity of experiences represented by participants at each meeting.
The award will cover conference-related expenses to include: meeting registration, lodging, airfare and ground transportation from host airport to the resort.
The amount of the awards will vary, depending on where awardees are coming from and the extent of their need.

This is a limited competition. The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) will award Institutional Research Career Development (K12) programs through the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA). The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to encourage institutions to propose creative and innovative institutional research career development programs designed to prepare an outstanding broadly-experienced pool of promising later stage postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty scholars who have made a commitment to independent clinical and translational science research careers (i.e., tenure-track or equivalent faculty positions) to facilitate their timely career advancement and continued engagement in research (i.e., sectors including academia, industry, nonprofit and government).

This is a limited competition. The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) will award Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Postdoctoral Institutional Research Training Grants for the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program (T32) to eligible institutions to create, provide, and disseminate clinical and translational science training and career support programs that enhance postdoctoral research training of individuals with doctoral degrees (these include, but are not limited to, the following: D.M.D., DC, DO, DVM, OD, DPM, ScD, EngD, DrPH, DNSc, DPT, PharmD, ND [Doctor of Naturopathy], DSW, PsyD, as well as a doctoral degree in nursing research) and help ensure a pool of clinical and translational scientists trainees are equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to advance diagnostics, therapeutics, clinical interventions, and behavioral modifications that improve health and support meaningful translational science research projects that address demonstrable needs among stakeholder communities.
