Harvard Global Health Institute: Harvard Learn, Engage, Advance, Disrupt “LEAD” Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 30 November, 2025. To equip and empower more leaders in global health, together the Harvard Global Health Institute and the Department of Global Health and Population at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health offer a transformational 1-year fellowship specifically designed to promote leadership skills in individuals from low- and middle-income countries who will, in turn, mentor future female leaders in global health. Candidates should be currently based/working in a LMIC, and plan to return there after their fellowship. Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort are NOW OPEN! All application materials are due by 11:59PM EST, Sunday, November 30th, 2025.

Harvard University: The Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Health Policy Leadership

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 1 December, 2025 The Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Health Policy Leadership at Harvard University is a one-year, full-time, academic degree-granting program designed to prepare physicians to become leaders who improve the health for all, with emphasis on disadvantaged, vulnerable, and uninsured populations. We seek applications from highly motivated individuals with great potential for leadership and for becoming change agents in health care delivery systems. Eligibility 1. Physicians who have completed residency in the U.S., either BE/BC. Additional experience beyond residency, such as chief residency, is preferred. 2. Experience or interest in advancing systems change to improve the health of all, with emphasis on disadvantaged, vulnerable, and uninsured populations. 3. Strong evidence of leadership experience or potential, especially as related to community efforts, quality improvement, transformation of health care delivery systems, and/or health policy. Intention to pursue a career in policy, public service, and/or academia. 4. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency.

Harvard Weatherhead Center for International Affairs: Weatherhead Scholars Program Practitioner Fellowship in International Affairs

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 15 February, 2026 The Weatherhead Scholars Program at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs invites applications for its 2026–2027 Practitioner Fellowship, a one-year, residential opportunity for accomplished professionals from across the globe who are working on international, comparative, transnational, or global issues. Practitioner fellows join a multidisciplinary cohort—including postdoctoral researchers and visiting faculty—in residence at Harvard for the academic year. The program fosters a dynamic intellectual community through a weekly seminar, professional development workshops, and engagement with the broader Weatherhead Center and Harvard communities. Fellows are expected to be on campus from late August through mid-May and to participate actively in program activities.

HORIZON-JU-EDCTP3-2025‚ EDCTP prizes

THIS CALL IS LED EVERY 2 YEARS. NEXT CALL WILL BE IN APRIL 2027. The biennial EDCTP Prizes recognise outstanding individuals and research teams from Africa and Europe who have made significant achievements in their research field. Additionally, the awardees will have made major contributions to strengthening clinical research capacity in Africa and supporting South-South and North-South networking. The following prizes are available: Dr Pascoal Mocumbi Prize (€50,000) The Dr Pascoal Mocumbi Prize aims to reward an individual in recognition of his/her outstanding achievements in advancing health research and capacity development in Africa with significant impact on the wellbeing of the African population. Outstanding Research Team Prize (€50,000) This prize is awarded to outstanding research teams in sub-Saharan Africa and Europe working on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected infectious diseases. Outstanding Female Scientist prize (€20,000) The prize is awarded to female scientists who have made a significant scientific contribution and built measurable impactful research capacity through training and mentorship for the future generation of researchers/scientists in Africa. Four Scientific Leadership Prizes (€15,000 each) Two Scientific Leadership Prizes (one woman and one man) for researchers who are permanent residents of an EU Member State or a country associated with the Horizon Europe programme.

Implementation Research for Multi-morbidity Management in the Context of Non-communicable Diseases in Low- and Middle-Income Countries and US Tribal Populations (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) participating Institutes, Centers, and Offices (ICOs), in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD), invite applications for implementation research that aims to improve the availability of effective, efficient, integrated, patient-centered, safe, and timely care for people living with multiple long-term conditions (non-communicable disease (NCD) multimorbidity) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and/or within American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations in the United States. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) supports innovative approaches to identifying, understanding, developing, and implementing strategies for overcoming barriers to the adoption, adaptation, integration, scale-up, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions, tools, policies, and guidelines. In addition, studies to advance dissemination and implementation research methods and measures into application are encouraged. All applications must be within the scope of the mission of one of the Institutes/Centers listed above (see "Components of Participating Organizations," excluding the Fogarty International Center which manages this program but does not support awards). IN-TRAC IN-tensive Week

IN-TRAC IN-tensive week is scheduled for August 4-6, 2025 on the Texas Biomed campus in San Antonio, TX. This week will include courses from three IN-TRAC cores: Biosafety and Biocontainment Core (BBC), Animal Model Core (AMC) and Research Imaging Core (RIC). Influential Mentor Training

Influential Mentor Training - The TRAC Influential Mentors series comprises five virtual sessions that focus on recent scholarship on mentorship, tools for mentors and mentees to strengthen relationships, mentoring across cultures, and building mentoring programs. One session features a panel discussion where experienced mentors and mentees will share best practices and lessons learned. This series is tailored for TB research mentors and mentees from various backgrounds and ranks. Participants who attend four out of five sessions will receive a certificate, however registered participants can attend select sessions. The sessions are led by Dr. Dawn Comeau, Director of Mentor Training at Emory’s TRAC and Professor at Rollins School of Public Health.
